Terms of Service

1. Parties and Scope

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of the OasisWorld Identity Verification Gateway ("Service"), operated by Oasis World ("we", "us", "our"), reachable at https://verify.oasisworld.net.

By clicking "Verify with Discord" and completing the verification process you ("User", "you") confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference.

If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Nature of the Service

The Service is a security gateway protecting the OasisWorld Minecraft community on Discord. It verifies that players wishing to access our Discord server and game servers are not circumventing previously issued bans by using alternative accounts ("alts"), VPNs, proxies, or other evasion techniques.

The verification is a one-time process per Discord account. Once approved, your account may be added to our Discord server and receives the Verified role.

If an already verified account leaves and later rejoins the Discord server, the Service may offer a limited re-verification action to restore the role. This action is available only when the account is not currently in the server and is not banned or blacklisted. To prevent join/leave abuse, each Discord account may use re-verification at most three times per 30-day period.

To complete this process, you authorize Discord OAuth2 scopes for identify, email, guilds, guilds.join, and connections. These scopes are used to check whether the Discord account has a verified email address, derive account age from the Discord user ID, review the account's server-list footprint including server names, assess whether the account has valid linked-account signals, and add approved accounts to the OasisWorld Discord server before role restoration or assignment is completed.

3. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 13 years of age (as required by Discord's own Terms of Service).
  • If you are under 16 years of age, you must have obtained verifiable parental or guardian consent.
  • Your Discord account must have a verified email address and meet our minimum account-integrity requirements.
  • You must not be currently subject to an active, permanent ban from OasisWorld services.

4. Prohibited Conduct

You may not:

  • Attempt to circumvent the verification system through VPNs, proxies, TOR, spoofed hardware, or any other technical means.
  • Attempt to bypass an existing ban from OasisWorld.
  • Submit false or misleading information during verification.
  • Automate or script the verification process.
  • Interfere with the availability or integrity of the Service (e.g., DDoS, brute-force).
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, extract, or scrape data from the Service.
  • Use another person's Discord account to verify on their behalf.

Violation of these prohibitions may result in a permanent ban from all OasisWorld services and may be reported to Discord and/or relevant law-enforcement authorities.

5. Verification Outcome

The Service may produce one of the following outcomes:

  • Approved – Your account is added to the Discord server where needed, and the Verified role is granted automatically.
  • Flagged – Your account is placed in a manual-review queue. A decision is made within 48 hours.
  • Rejected – Access is denied due to a security policy violation (e.g., active VPN, banned IP, known ban-evasion device).

Rejection decisions are based on automated signals such as account integrity, account-age heuristics, Discord footprint signals, IP threat intelligence, and device fingerprinting. You may appeal by contacting us at support@oasisworld.net or opening a support ticket in our Discord server.

6. Intellectual Property

All source code, design assets, and content of the Service are the intellectual property of Oasis World or its licensors and are protected by applicable copyright law. You may not copy, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

  • The Service will be uninterrupted, timely, or error-free.
  • The verification results will be 100% accurate.
  • Third-party APIs (Discord, Cloudflare, proxycheck.io) will be available at all times.

8. Limitation of Liability

As this Service is a free security verification tools provided to manage community access, Oasis World shall only be liable for damages caused by intent (Vorsatz) or gross negligence (grobe Fahrlässigkeit).

We are not liable for any technical malfunctions, bot downtime, verification delays, or API failures caused by third-party services (such as Discord or proxycheck.io). In any event, our total maximum aggregate liability to you shall not exceed EUR 50.

9. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Oasis World and its members, employees, and contractors from any claims arising out of your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, excluding conflict-of-law rules. The exclusive place of jurisdiction for all disputes is the registered location of Oasis World, to the extent permitted by law.

11. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Significant changes will be announced in our Discord server. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
